Sputnik Digital Design and Marketing is a Manchester Web Design, Marketing and Hosting company. Over the past few years we quickly expanded managing both online and offline campaigns for our growing list of clients which now include The Tourism Society, Swinton Insurance, The English Riviera, Greater Manchester NHS, Tandberg and Vision Express to name but a few.
What makes us stand out is our background in marketing, our seriously technical know-how, and our creative design team. Whatever we don't know, we find out!
Andy Nicol - Sales & Marketing
Having spent 10 years in sales and marketing, Andy's first step into web development was as Marketing Director of a Manchester-based ISP. In 2001, Andy went on to set up Sputnik. His key roles within the company are Marketing Consultancy, Technical Advisor and Account Management.
Ross Malpass - Design
Ross is a CSS wizard, and heads up the web team making sure projects meet specification, deadline and Accessibility guidelines. Ross spends his spare time as a heartthrob in his band Me vs Hero.
Fiona Burrows - Technical
Fiona has over ten years of programming experience, and is highly proficient in various languages. In her spare time she makes models out of paper and writes noisy industrial music. Her main roles are back-end programming, client-server user interactions and server administration.
Matt Pringle - Web Strategist
Matt is our 'ideas man' and has spent the past 10 years providing clients with new and innovative ways of taking their services online, reaching new audiences and streamlining their business to operate in the digital world. Focussing on online strategy, user interaction, social media and search engine optimisation Matt can help you make the most out of your online offerings.
Having just been described as an "Honorary Member" by one of his clients after successfully launching a website which in its first few days took 1/4 million pounds and assisting a former American sports star in launching his biography and new television show, Matt is now looking at bring a whole host of new offerings to our clients.
Matt is also an accomplished designer who has worked on projects for such clients as Electronic Arts, Dulux ICI, VisitScotland and Shell to name but a few.
